: julie ann's blog :: "Rivermaya Audition of dramaprincess on August 25th, 2007 at 03:22 pm | We went to UST today to pass our application forms. We'll be taking our Entrance Exam on September 23. Then, to Wendy's for a snack. We rode the jeep to get to UP Diliman. We met at the Oblation. Asked the guard where the Audition for Rivermaya is going on. Then, went to where the guard told us. Leah and Jess were hesitant to go through the audition but we encouraged them to still join, so they did. We asked a participant in the audition where he got his number, then he said, 'You have to get it there *points inside*' So, they got a form, filled it up and submitted it. Wow. Tuloy na tuloy na talaga! haha! Jes and Leah decided to practice at the back (somewhere near the CR) so while they were away, Mark Escueta asked us if he could take us a picture... Of course, who would say no? Haha. So we were really quite fluttered huh! Lalala. Sayang nga lang, Jes and Leah went away. Jes and Leah were participant no. 372 and 371 respectively. They were only called when it was already past 5. And they came out after 2 hours, not sure, but it was really a long wait for the two of us, Pat. Well... we heard Jess and Leah sing. None of those mean much to me. But most of the article is devoted to discussing two other Philippine legends that are of more general interest. The first one is that Jose Rizal, the national hero of the Philippines, 'was the father of Adolf Hitler, the result of an indiscretion with a prostitute in Vienna.' The second one is that Jose Rizal was also Jack the Ripper: Rizal was in London from May 1888 to January 1889, in the British Library copying 'Sucesos de las islas Filipinas' by hand because there were no photocopying machines at the time.
